About Kamikazo VR

Feel the road, feel the freedom. It's hard to resist the 2000hp. You will become weak. You will scream. Steer with the help of the touch controller your motorcycle. If no touch is available, you can also use a gamepad or keyboard. With touch it´s more realistic. After a few seconds you feel like on the Road 66 with a bunch of crazy drivers. Unfortunately, the cars have the negative characteristic very easy to explode. But they are very environmentally friendly.

Test first your driving skills by completing the driving school. You finish driving school after you earn 1000 coins.

Now the adventure begins

Try to get more rounds as possible. Unlock the cooler racing motor and challenge the extreme speed.

3 High-tech motorbikes to choose

3 Worlds ( North Pole, New Egypt, Alpha5 Spacestation )

First person camera view
Experienced on Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers and Xbox One Controller
I had already purchased this game elsewhere so I already knew it was horrible. Then I got this game as part of a VR bundle. So I decided to give this game another chance. I mean, it is possible the dev updated and improved the game after several months, right? Wrong. This is still one of the worst games in VR. This game checks all the boxes for horrible VR games. It has bad graphics. It has bad sounds. It has boring, repetitive gameplay. It has almost zero immersion. It has a clunky interface. The graphics are so bad that the coins you're supposed to collect to upgrade your bike and open a new course look like color blobs. They look absolutley nothing like coins. It is something that you or I could have done a better job of getting on Google Blocks and making a better 3D asset. You only have 2 tracks if you don't count the tutorial. You only have 3 bikes. Either way it doesn't matter because everything is ugly to look at. I mean the background vistas are okay. But the bikes are awful looking. The cars look like boxy things with wheels. Again, you and I can get on Google Blocks and make a better…

Here we have a pretty basic motorbike racing game. The controls had me all confused ... even into the tutorial, several press "X" to do "X" were overlaid on top of each other, so I couldn't tell what I was supposed to be doing. I kept accidentally hitting the "return to main menu" button which was irritating. Finally, I collected enough gems in the tutorial to unlock the first real mission. It's much better than the tutorial, now that there's actually something to do, but still not a ton of charm. Basically avoid head-on collisions, grab as many gems as you can, and every so often you can punch the nitro to go super speed and invincible. I don't even think the track turns - boring! It's morbidly amusing when you crash: you go flying through the windshield and splat on the ground. Honestly four bucks is pretty high for this game... I would only recommend to someone who wants a real basic arcade racing game. Lucky for the dev, I got it in a bundle for mere pennies, so at that price, I suppose I can give them a hesitant Thumbs: Up!

"F" - Control feels like slipping on ice and doesn't have much of a sense of speed outside of the turbo. Coins are atrociously large polygons which tend to block the road. Fine, bland but ok for a budget title. Massive point reduction for some pretty hefty VR sins though. Menu screen alone turns my iron stomach. You're constantly in motion and at a drastic slant. If you die during the race your bike stops and after a delay you're ejected through the front window. Again, seriously nauseating. Makes you actually fear failing but not as much as you fear going back to the main menu.

3/10 Dull racing game. Can't see things coming towards you for the points pickups. Every unlock is exactly the same as everything else you already have. every level is exactly the same. Avoid.

I did not expect much for the $2.00 on sale price tag, I was only looking to ride a bike around a track in VR. I could not get any controls (Oculus, Keyboard and Mouse or a game controller to work). I was only able to switch the bike. I could not find any support and did not end up even getting on a bike.
