Tower defense mixed with PlateUp! sounds like a perfect combo. It’s the kind of game I thought about before realizing it already existed. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t enjoy it. I really tried, but the gameplay kept frustrating me despite how polished everything is. I think it might work better with a few changes: cannons auto-firing, less rigid lane defense, or a different approach to the elemental system. The side-to-side movement and returning gems also felt more tedious than fun. In summary, the game plays tight and is polished, but they'd need to change very thing about the game to make it fun.2 found this helpful
It's like overcooked but more junk and more chill. Had a good time for a few evenings with friends. Not too challenging, which is good for me.1 found this helpful
Keep Keepers, developed and published by Thunderrock Innovations, takes a familiar collection of genres and combines them into a fast-paced cooperative experience that thrives on teamwork and adaptability. At its core, the game is a roguelite tower defense title where players are entrusted with protecting a magical keep from increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. However, the game goes beyond simply placing defenses and waiting for attacks to unfold. It introduces resource gathering, base expansion, and automation systems that constantly demand the player's attention, creating a gameplay loop that feels energetic from beginning to end. The title's biggest selling point is its emphasis on cooperative play. Whether playing locally or online, players are encouraged to divide tasks and communicate efficiently. One person may focus on harvesting resources while another upgrades defensive structures or repairs damaged sections of the keep. As enemy assaults intensify, these responsibilities become more demanding, forcing teams to make quick decisions under pressure. This constant need for coordination gives Keep Keepers an almost party-game atmosphere despite its strategic foundation.…
Cool game. Similar to Plate Up while still being different. I do wish there was a way to modify the base without the need to use your character to move stuff around since in the late game things will be cluttered. Plate up had the same issue in the beginning. Either way it's a fun game and I'm really enjoying it so far
pretty fun with friends, longer runs can get a little monotonous
