It's all about the combos, with so many Tower Abilities, Items, and Builder Specialties you'll have no shortage of possibilities. The more you bend the game's mechanics with your strategies the more you will be rewarded. Be careful not to leave blind spots in your build strategy otherwise you may find certain types of enemies waltz right through your defenses!

Fun game - if you like TD games in general its worth giving this one a look. The pure volume of tower categories, damage categories, tower skills/auras/passives is awesome. Then add in the number of items that can provide tower buffs (each tower tower has a small inventory, think like the item shop in DOTA - the dev included suggestions tailored for each tower, which makes this much more navigable). Then add in that each enemy color takes different amounts of dmg from different dmg types, and some are invisible or only take damage from magic attacks. All of the above makes for some great mixing and matching and adds good replay value. It also makes for some spectacularly failed efforts at first when you're trying to find your feet. The only in-game tool I kind of wish I had was some way to toggle a tower's behavior to prioritize bosses or medic-bot-things with their auto-casting skills or their auto attack. If this is already in game then I'm just blind but I haven't stumbled into finding it so far. Some kind of FAQ stickied in discussions might help new players that are searching for answers to some of the things that wipe them (I know some of this is covered over the first few…

Fun tower defence with unique and interesting tower selection. Looks and feels a bit janky, but the core gameplay is cool.

a remake of the SC2 TD mod that lets you customize towers with 6 item slots. High replay value due to interesting build diversity.
