Keyboard Warrior (2026)

Big fan of groches games I think the game is nice overall i like how the keyboard is utilized, you dont see that kind of creativity that much anymore, thats mostly what i love about grouches games, he takes a crazy silly idea and makes a whole game on it with a lot of love and care put into it, its one of the things i love about indie games nowadays more than traditional games made by big studios. The artstyle is lovely, very retro, something you would see in a old arcade,i love it. Shoutout to SuitNtie, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ underrated. I like how all the 4 biomes have unique enemies. anyway i think thats all the good things i have to say i may forgotten some ill just comeback later to add. (the bad) I have seen some a few reviews talking about how the difficulty spikes during the middle levels, which i do agree, i feel like the desert biomes is where this happens. The desert levels feel like multitasking hell. you have to watch out for tumbleweed, i lost so many waves because i forgot to lookout for the tumbleweed that comes out of nowhere and snipes you like in MW2 lobby. Very fun but no matter what I do in settings I cannot get the screen to size correctly and the sides are always cut off. I would really appreciate if the dev would fix this problem it would make the game much more enjoyable.

Love micro games like this that have a gimmick and nail it. Its hard though but luckily it doesn't waste your time and once you get good it feels super rewarding to just dance around the keyboard and annihilate it Also justifies my mechanical keyboard purchase :)

This game was great! I had so much fun just messing around with the different loadouts and experimenting with the different enemies. I liked how the enemy and hazard layouts were randomized so you were always kept on your toes; it made you strategize your movement specially with the keys that dropped into the goo. Although I wish the bosses attacks were a bit more scripted as the Monitaur would spam the laser attack over and over with no clear opportunity to attack. I did see that the invincibility item could use some ironing out as it seems there's a few glitches surrounding it. It might be intentional, but with those flying enemies, if you're invincible they go right through you and just keep flying off screen and do not return to the screen until quite a bit of time later, this was a big problem for me in the valley of death. The Monitaur has a similar issue, if it does the jump attack while you're occupying the same key as it it'll just de-spawn only leaving a shadow. Overall the game was cute little game, I see myself replaying this game later in the future.

Just started playing but this game is some very good fun.

Took me a few minutes to get the hang, but once I got going it is an adrenaline rush! Getting the Long Bow really turned on the juice. The game Is running great on CachyOS for me.
