Kill the Twister is a small-scale first-person action game developed and published by Jakob Vidal that embraces a wonderfully ridiculous premise and builds an entire experience around it. Instead of fighting monsters, soldiers, or aliens, players are tasked with battling a gigantic tornado. What initially sounds like a joke quickly reveals itself as a clever gameplay concept, delivering a short but memorable experience that understands exactly what it wants to be. Rather than stretching its ideas across a lengthy campaign, the game focuses on a single objective and executes it with surprising confidence. Set during the 1990s, the story follows a television weather forecaster who finds himself facing an unprecedented natural disaster. The game never takes itself too seriously, and that sense of humor becomes one of its greatest strengths.
Its ok for a few minutes
The gameplay is entertaining. You can change the difficulty, but I don't think the game has much replay value since it only changes the tornado's health, it's just good for about 15-30 minutes. The game itself is well made, along with several mechanics that add a lot to the game so it doesn't feel too empty. As for the story, it's absurd but well directed and entertaining.
Conclusion:
The game is free, so you might as well try it out, since it doesn't last long and it's entertaining for a few minutes. I don't think the game has anything bad, the only thing would be the graphics, but that's just personal preference. Other than that, it's great for about 30 minutes.
