About Knight Swap 2

The sequel of the successful Knight Swap, with more levels, more gameplay mechanics, and more fun.
Knight Swap is a minimalist puzzle game based on the old chess problem of swapping knights on a board.

The goal in each level is to move the opposing knights to where the others are placed (and vice versa) using the features of the board.
  • Designed for Knight Swap fans and newcomers alike;
  • 100 originally designed levels;
  • All the original Knight Swap features included: partial and complete rotations, trigger buttons, teleportation tiles, and movable parts;
  • Additional gameplay mechanics, that take the original Knight Swap concept to a completely new level of difficult and fun;
  • Originally composed music to help you focus and relax while solving the puzzles.
Can you swap the knights?

I'm still early on in the game, but it is considerably more difficult than the first Knight Swap, primarily due to tandem moves and trapdoors. Simply put: introducing these as key concepts is sheer genius. The difficulty bar is raised exponentially by these two concepts, and they make it less a puzzle game and far more a logic one. Actually, the game is almost chess-like in how it REQUIRES you to plan out your moves ahead of time or suffer the disappearance of a board square via the trapdoor mechanism. Level 28 is real introduction to the difficulty, and you can tell by how many players finished level 20 but did not finish level 30 under the achievements. Highly recommended, even if somewhat infuriating at times!

5/10 decent puzzle game and its only 1$ - from a drag and drop app/game has you clicking all over the place and constantly

Nah. Way too focused on portals and sychronised pieces compared to the first one.

More frustrating than the first game, which I enjoyed and completed. There is no ability to rewind/take back a move. If you make a wrong move under certain conditions (such as limited use squares) your game is over and you need to restart. There are no clue or hint options. I have found very few videos on Youtube, and only 69 reviews on Steam. I am stuck on level 45 and cannot even look up a solution to advance. The game is not interesting enough to me to warrant the level of difficulty and lack of quality-of-life features. I would recommend only if you enjoy difficult, bare bones puzzle games where if you get stuck you are on your own.
