It's like a game of chess. The puzzle is very nice and wonderful. Game finish it in 5 minutes. Rate and send me a award please thx :)11 found this helpful
The first one was pretty good. This one is wrecked by horrendous angles and multiple levels that serve no purpose other than frustration.1 found this helpful
Unlock The King was an excellent game, but the sequel leaves much to be desired; it doesn't even make you want to play. The addition of an extra dimension seemed quite interesting, but it stops being fun when you're forced to restart the level because a king just wandered off into a portal that you don't know where it leads. It's practically playing by trial and error, which eliminates the core puzzle-solving factor of the game. I would have expected a dark mode to be added, unlike the first game, but NO, it's incredibly annoying to play this game at night1 found this helpful
I still know how the Knight moves. What I Love: the 3rd dimension made for some really clever puzzles late in the game, after you start dealing with multiple kings. In particular, puzzle 62 kicked my butt for nearly an hour, and puzzle 67 made me feel smart again. What I don't Love: Bugs. Game seems buggier than Unlock The King 1. In particular:

Unlock The King became a game of Unlock The Camera; the camera would frequently lock in position after completing a level, and could only be corrected by relaunching the game.
"Undo" button wouldn't fully undo a step, particularly late in the game when there were many kings and many teleporters. Several times I was close to the end of a complex puzzle, and had to fully restart. My bad, I'll just get gud I guess.
Overall, fun little puzzle game.
Unlock The King 2, developed and published by Minimol Games, is a minimalist puzzle game that expands on the ideas of its predecessor while introducing a new layer of complexity with three-dimensional gameplay. Drawing inspiration from traditional chess mechanics, the game revolves around guiding a king to a designated square by manipulating other chess pieces according to their classical movement patterns. However, the real twist lies in how these movements play out across a series of increasingly intricate 3D environments, turning a simple concept into a thoughtful exercise in spatial reasoning and logic. The game presents its puzzles across a clean, stripped-down visual design that keeps the focus squarely on gameplay. Each level is presented like a floating chessboard suspended in a serene void, free from clutter or distractions. The user interface is intuitive, and the calm, ambient soundtrack creates a meditative atmosphere conducive to deep thinking. It’s a design philosophy that suits the puzzle genre well, encouraging players to approach challenges with patience and focus rather than overwhelming them with unnecessary complexity. The aesthetic might not be flashy, but it …
Adds a new dimension to the puzzle and keeps the game fresh. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something to tease your brain with between tasks like writing python code which gets screwed up if you forget to indent or leave something outside of a if loop when it should be inside. Sometimes mild dyslexia will kick in when you put reverse how a method is written and don't catch it because your eyes are frail and you need to increase the font size. anyhow the game is a good distraction. edit - had a bug on lvl 57 where one of the tiles did not load a trigger so it was impossible to solve. had to exit and re-enter so both trigger tiles could load.
