About Kong's Wrath: City of Mayhem
Kong's Wrath: City of Mayhem is a simple arcade style roguelike "beat 'em up" game. Rampage in a destructible, climbable, 3D city. Throw cars, defeat your attackers, and collect bananas throughout the endless concrete jungle. Bananas recover your health, increase your score, and provide temporary magical powers, but each bananas also increases the enemy presence! This game features:

The game has 3D platformer controls that support controller or keyboard and mouse. It is a single player game, but your top score is visible to all other players in the leaderboard, so that players compete indirectly for the highest banana count.
- An endless procedurally generated, destructible environment
- Ever-increasing levels of enemy resistance based on player score
- An in-game world-wide leaderboard
- The classic gigantic simian kaiju, Kong, with new, never before seen abilities!

The game has 3D platformer controls that support controller or keyboard and mouse. It is a single player game, but your top score is visible to all other players in the leaderboard, so that players compete indirectly for the highest banana count.

It's a fun experience!3 found this helpful
This game is kinda fun for a few minutes, but sadly it needs some more time in the oven I think. I wish Steam had more granular ways to rate things, because I do think this game has promise and it's kinda fun for a couple minutes, but unfortunately I can't recommend it as it currently stands. The good: - The premise has a lot of potential. It kinda reminds me of those old Rampage games where you just destroy the city as a giant monster. We need more games like that. - I love the art style and just how absurd Kong looks - It's pretty fun to just run around smashing buildings and chuck cars around The bad: - The controls feel pretty clunky. Kong gets stuck on buildings a bit too often, and I felt it was pretty tricky to grab the car I was trying to grab without smashing it in the process - You're constantly picking up powerups, but I wasn't really sure what those powerups were doing - There's very little enemy variety, and even less variety in how you deal with the enemies that exist. You either hit the attack button or throw a car and hope it hits them. - Even when you're surrounded by enemies, it never really feels like they're a threat.2 found this helpful
I love King Kong.
