Game could be cool in the future, but atm it is not fun. The only way to do meaningful damage is to build up heat and then use directional heavy attacks. its ok at first but soon you realize this system means any time you try a different "class" or build you are still just a heavy attack STR build. the game has 1 playstyle and its built into it foundations. game is beautiful and the respawn system is cool they just need to re think their core combat loop. limitations built in to make heat heavy attacks into the only damage method kills any chance of playing a different feeling build.

I spent 40 hours on the 0.3 early access release, (just released 0.4 yesterday) and didn't even come close to seeing everything, and had a blast. If future updates brings a lot more content and polish, then this game will be amazing. Great bones for now.

This game is criminally underrated! It's hard at first, but once you get used to the enemy attacks and dodging/blocking, it gets a lot easier. Exploring the world is a lot of fun and rewarding. The only negative I have is that the map can be a bit frustrating to navigate, as it doesn't have a way of letting you know what elevation a quest is at, and that can take about an hour of pathfinding to figure out where it is due to the nature of the world design. Despite this flaw, I still think it's well worth the price!

As I played, I kept thinking, this world is actually really good looking, dangerous, and absolutely brimming with potential. And judging from what others have said, I’m not the only one who felt this way. The atmosphere is one of the game’s strongest flames even in this early access state. [h2] Gameplay [/h2] The combat has that deliberate, weighty feel that Souls‑lite fans crave. When you swing, block, or commit to an attack, it feels like it matters. The foundation is solid, and you can tell the devs know how to build a good fight. But the early game? That’s where the fire gets a little too spicy. Changing Resolutions at full screen caused my game to freeze and lock me out of my whole primary monitor. Task Manager wouldn't even show. Needed a full PC restart because of this. Game runs horribly, my pc is great and even on low with balanced DLSS it runs like crap. Combat feels terrible. Telegraphs are hard to read and my character feels slow and clunky. Really wanted to like it but I'm gonna say no to this.

It's just not fun to play! Also, one of the worst camera angles I've ever experienced
