ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE GAMES FROM CAPCOM Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is one of those games that feels impossible to compare with anything else. It is a strange but incredibly successful mix of tower defense, action combat, RTS and RPG elements, creating an experience that feels completely unique. From the very beginning, the biggest impression is the presentation. This game is not only beautiful it feels like a living Japanese diorama. The amount of detail, the art direction, animations and especially the soundtrack create an atmosphere that is hard to find in modern games. The music deserves special praise. It dynamically changes depending on what is happening during missions, and some tracks stayed in my head long after finishing the game. The whole audio design perfectly matches the ritualistic feeling of cleansing the mountain from demons. The gameplay loop is simple but incredibly addictive. During the day, you prepare the battlefield, rescue villagers, assign them roles and create your defense strategy. 100% achievements on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. This game is amazing! Solid 9/10. Although there's no dialogue, the story was beautifully told, especially through the scrolls and plaques. The gameplay was near perfect, and the artwork was fascinating. Easy recommendation.3 found this helpful
Id call it Tower Offense, fun game you have to work around the scenario to protect the tower(goddess). Not very hard but fun twist in the TD genre. Meanwhile you upgrade completed maps to get more upgrade currency, misc stuff and limit increase. Worthy if you enjoy tower defense and active play because you are going to use the hero unit(soh) to help and fight bosses1 found this helpful
