Game is currently pay to win, if you have all gods you will play with the event ones (new god) that is immortal. When the event is over they nerf the gods so you feel like you have to always play with the new god that you have to pay crystals or have the bundle. Current God Xing Tian at level 2 can stay in tower , harras you and has no issue with taking any form of damage. Please note that I played Smite 1 a lot and I also did buy the bundle to get all gods .
good craphicals
Game sucks balls, much better mobas where you dont just get CCd all match long to where you cant even move or attack and you just get insta nuked. Pick any other MOBA if you are considering this, only postive i can admit is Gods and skins look solid.
It is absolutley mind boggling and borderline criminal how they managed to make a product so drastically inferior to the first game, while simultaneously killing the original. Everything that made Smite 1 great and unique is gone. Not even half the gods have been ported over yet (this pos has been out for 3 years already at time of review) not to mention the straight up theft of all those skins. However dont get it twisted this negative review is not out of spite for the horrendous money grabbiness of this product to all the loyal smite 1 players (i myself have over 5000hrs in that game i played since before it was on steam) SMITE 2 is actually inferior in gameplay, its incredibly buggy and on top of this you would think it would have dramatically outshine the first game graphically at least... it does not. Some of the models actually are inferior in quality to the old models. It truly is incomprehensible.
I love the upgraded graphics of Smite 2! They are so beautiful, lighting is awesome, the updated God Models (and skins) are really detail and have better fx animations. Fyi, I only play Arena as that's the mode I only care about, and its still as fast pace and chaotic like Smite 1 but now in 4K running on Unreal Engine 5.
