About L/Right Reflection

✦ AI summary

Control Lumis, a sorcerer who turns the tables on enemies by perfectly timing reflections of their attacks back at them in this rhythm-based battle system. Chain successful parries across three attack types with dynamic cursor movements while managing support spells to shift the tide of combat.

"L/Right Reflection" is an RPG game in which the main character, who is unable to use offensive sorcery, battles by reflecting enemy attacks.

The player controls Lumis, a girl who is a sorcerer but cannot use offensive sorcery. How will Lumis defeat the enemies even if she can't attack?
The way Lumis defeats the enemies is through reflection sorcery. You can damage the enemy by reflecting the enemy's attack at the right moment.

In the battle, enemy attacks are represented by a skill cursor, which looks like a magic circle. At the center of the battle screen, there is an area called a marker. When the skill cursor is just over the marker, press the button for a successful reflection. The game is designed in the style of a rhythm game, in which the player parries the movement of the skill cursor to move in various ways, such as straight lines, curves, waves, and rotations.

Also, there is not only one button to press but three different buttons. The enemies use three types of attacks: blows, slashes, and magic, so press the button corresponding to each attack to reflect them.

Sorcery
In addition to reflection sorcery, Lumis can also use sorcery to advance the battle. Such as,
 • Reflective damage is reduced but slows down the enemy's attack.
 • Reduces HP by half but increases reflective damage
 • Automatically reflect all enemy attacks for one turn, but reflective damage becomes a little

These consume MP, but many of them have more powerful effects.

Characters
This game uses Live2D, so the characters move vividly in conversation and battle scenes! Especially in conversation scenes, the characters' expressions change in detail, making the story more enjoyable.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"L/Right Reflection" doesn't seem to have been made with the godawful blight on gaming that is the RPG Maker asset/construction kit... but it's almost completely indistingishable from an asset flip churned out with it. Instead this is hammered out with a similar Unity based JRPG construction kit. The quality is just as bad, if not worse, than an RPG Maker asset flip. As a construction kit kitbash/asset flip, this doesn't contain much in the way of original game assets, it's just a bunch of pixelcrap assets from the construction kit combined with that all too common high school anime club dropout fan-fiction cringe writing. The topic here, unsurprisingly, is the developers imaginary girlfriend, a little anime girl called Lumis. Why are RPG Maker asset flippers so obsessed with little girls? It's creepy. These JRPG construction kits are pretty much all the same as far as gamers are concerned... low quality engine, pixelcrap "art" instead of anything remotely contemporary or professional, completely am…

+ fitting OST + good RPG Maker Game? + appealing Anime Art + simple gameplay technic (where i mostly suck) + warmheartening story + loli witch + rythmn-game like Live 2D (kinda) + nice short story - short Conclusion: Nice rythmn turn based game with a little story. Well thought and nice char design. Hopefully there are more projects on the way. Was funny and some encounters were challenging. They were also doable despite of being rythmlike. Nice job! Score: 85 13/10 The evil adult witch! 13/10 mhmm!

A cool and flawless game about a sorcerer and a witch with refreshing gameplay! The visuals consist of two different styles. Cute semi-animated anime portraits for the characters and enemies and a lovely pixel environment. Both of these styles are done well and a delight to look at. Exploration is rewarded greatly with optional spells that can help a lot with the fights. Combat and the difficulty of it is done very well. As difficulty gradually increases you can also pick your fights outside of the bosses so avoiding enemies with difficult or annoying attack patterns by simply fleeing from them is easy. In the boss fights you can pick and choose similarly as defending essentially skips an attack, though you’ll still need to learn the pattern in which their different attacks come up. With all that you can also tailor the difficulty to be as easy or challenging as you like. The story is really sweet and quite funny when it is not striking an emotional cord. Though the boss fights still bring tension to it. What is set up in terms of worldbuilding is also quite interesting and I could see more games set in this world. All in all definitely a recommendation from me! It’s a lovely well-…
