An adventure tan woven by the age difference between Jii-san, who is over 60 years old, and a girl who is like Mago.
Side view battle with a sense of tempo and pixel art that moves.
Recommended for those who like a little retro world view and four-color expression.
* The world view is a sequel to sword of mind and sword of mind2, but we make it possible to play without worrying about it.
You can now change the language to English.
Open the menu screen and press the C key or SHIFT key.
You can also change it with the X key during a conversation.
You can change to English,
when you open a menu, push C key or SHIFT key.
Or, when push X key in conversation event.

Full playthrough here: https://youtu.be/942NlHnSqrs This game is actually really well made. I love that weak enemies just get insta-smashed after you've hit a certain level. I wish the game was translated better, and more frequently especially since the main option at the end says "sorry japanese only" after I struggled through the full game. I may have missed it because I'm drunk, but I don't remember seeing anything that the C key lets you gain all your hp and sp fully outside of combat. I also couldn't use my cp specials til the final battle which felt rewarding in the final battle, but there didn't seem to be any warning you couldn't use it before that. Overall this is a really cool JRPG, you level up fast and become stronger at a really rewarding rate so it's dope. The translation just fails you if you don't speak japanese and I'm too drunk to try and use internet resources to fully translate :/4 found this helpful
"JIJImago(old & young)RPGmini" is a bad name for a video game, and is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel JRPG ripoffs spamming the Steam catalog, but instead of being made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit, it's made with the even worse craptastic Wolf RPG Editor. Like all JRPG construction kit "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all JRPG construction kit games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. While it might be better if this had never been released on Steam under the guise of a professionally developed game, the developer has done the right thing by making their construction kit effort free. This is a particularly badly made JRPG and the developer didn't even bother using colour assets, opting to try rip off a Nintendo GameBoy or something, …2 found this helpful
