Lab BreakOut

Lab Breakout is a Unity asset flip from known asset flippers, Piece of Voxel. These guys make a living out of taking real developers work from asset packs, templates and tutorials and dumping that onto Steam as if they wrote it themselves. This 2D retro minimalist platformer template copy is another attempt to scam people into paying them for someone else's work. An important note: Piece of Voxel are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers into buying asset flips. Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. Where's the rest of the game? Chapters 2 and 3 are "coming soon" and not even the boss/final level of Chapter 1 is present. 2 years later, I doubt it's ever coming. A platformer game with gravity rotating with the goal of avoiding all the traps and making it to the end. Only 9 levels + 3 bonus levels that have their own rules. The controls are annoying at best. Using the mouse just for gravity manipulation forces me to use WSAD with my left hand to move (for me, that's harder to use than the arrow keys with my right). Don't bother with the green orbs; they are only a self-challenge and serve no other purpose. Better yet, avoid this game as $10 is too much even if the rest of the game existed... which it does not. The game also has an annoying bug of making your cursor invisible, making selecting a menu option an additional challenge. PS - If you still bought or otherwise have this game, you can only change gravity when you jump and are adjacent to another surface. The controls fail to mention that important condition and it took me a few minutes until I understood that.
