Lanesplitterz is a 3D arcade-style bowling game where you compete to rule over Neo Las Vegas, the last remaining city in the aftermath of a nuclear winter.In this extreme evolution of bowling, thrill-seeking daredevils shoot themselves from cannons down the Vegas strip toward bowling pins the size of buildings. Five seconds of gameplay followed by three minutes of terrible dialogue. No thanks.
It often felt like there was too much luck involved in winning. I wish I had more control over the ball with possibly a longer course, perhaps taking more queues from Mario Kart. I also started skipping past the dialogue once I realized how it excessively happened every single round. With some more polish and visual consistency, this could be a really cool game!
This game would be fine if it was just tank bowling. Instead walls of text and pointless animations take like 80% of the play time.
I like the idea but the giant delay between powering your bowl and the ball leaving the cannon is HUGE and ruins the game.
