THE WILD WEST ISN'T SO WILD IN THE AFTERLIFE "Saddle Up, Shut Up and Hold On Tight", partner, the Ghosts of Laruaville are rebuilding the Wild West! The newest BandiGhost may have crossed over but he still has an itchy trigger finger and he's dying to rob the train...cuz that's what he does, well, that's what he did before the "incident" ;0 I wonder if the Wanted Posters say "WANTED: Dead or Undead?" You can play in a Relaxed Mode, a Limited Moves, or a Limited Time Mode. After each Match 3 level, you can play a Hidden Object Scene, or a mini-game, such as Blocks, Mahjong, or my personal favorite, Spot the Difference with differences that aren't as obvious as you'd expect! You can skip the mini-games (and there is a Hint feature with no penalties) There is also a Hint feature on the Match 3 levels that point to the main goal's feature, and of course, they have a Strategy Guide Booklet that explains every feature, including a Tips & Tricks section which is incredibly invaluable. "Laruaville 12" is a great match-3 game with unique mechanics and minigames (solitaire, unblock puzzles, spot the difference and hidden object games). It runs flawlessly and it will stimulate your brain! A very tricky match-3 with power-ups and unique ways to solve the puzzles. Help the cute ghosts restore the wild west! Yihaaa!!!... The levels themselves are hard but leave an impression and above all they are fun. So you will be glad it wasn't a piece of cake that required no thinking and ended in 10 minutes. The visual effects, animations and music will help a lot in keeping you calm and focused on the task at hand. If you are stuck, you can use the hint system, which I find very good, comprehensive and helpful. On top of that, they have added a beautifully crafted grimoire as help. It will keep you busy for hours but without overstaying its welcome and you can always replay it due to its nature. Featuring different modes, minigames and building your town! It's a very long game compared to the rest of the series, 115 M3-puzzle levels plus the usual oodles of minigames (HOS, spot the difference, mahjong, and the new slider puzzles). The bonus M3 levels were retired a game or 2 ago which I miss. Difficulty is typical for Laruaville: relatively easy puzzles for gathering all the coins if you take a moment to see what you can do next. Most of the levels can be solved with matches only, although there are a few levels where there's a piece of clay blocking something which will require a powerup to remove (guess the developer wanted some gratuitous powerup usage somewhere). There are a ton of obstacles and gadgets, but the in-game help book is detailed and doesn't skip any new features. The town scene is pretty good for a Wild West theme and the usual Laruaville cartoonish look actually works with it. I also liked the sporadic dust storms blowing through the town for additional realism. The bonus sparkles which were removed for several games are back. The storyline will be either funny or obnoxious, depending on whether or not you like the ghosts kissing up to the "One Behind the Screen" on a regular basis. It is a bit of a ho…

GREAT WAY TO RELAX AND EXERCISE THE LITTLE GREY CELLS FOR SENIORS LIKE ME.

Game 12 in this series is similar to the others in that the mechanics are the same (sliding keys, fire to the ice blocks, etc.). One change I DON'T like is there are only two destroying icons now: a "rocket" that only removes horizontal or vertical rows, and the "flying" rocket which you can only get by matching 6. It doesn't morph into the lightning bolt or explosive like the older games. It can be tedious to try and make matches to get a rocket which you have to have to move on. On the plus side there aren't any magnets to deal with! The mini games have been updated with more colors--I don't like the majong but I like the hidden object and the sliding bar games. Basically if you like the games in this series you'll like this.
