Laruaville 8

This Laruaville installment is all right, but there are a few things which could've been better. There are 100 M3-puzzle levels, the vast majority of which can be solved with moves only. A good portion of each level is inaccessible, where you must solve the puzzle up to the point that the rest of the level plays itself. To me that was taking away some of the "puzzle" element which Laruaville 7 did really well. Also, with the usable playing area being smaller, it actually makes playing with matches only [b]more[/b] difficult because it's so easy to be making powerups by accident which then get in the way. If you enjoy constantly using powerups, that's fun, but for me that makes the game childishly easy. There is plenty of other content with a wide variety of minigames appearing in between every 3 or so levels (hidden object scenes, spot the differences, mahjong, and solitaire), plus bonus M3 levels which gradually unlock as you're going along. The bonus M3 levels are 20 turn-based levels where you play against a computer opponent trying to collect all the coins from your half of the playfield first. "Laruaville 8" is a great match-3 game with unique mechanics and minigames (Mahjong, solitaire, spot the difference and hidden object games). It runs flawlessly and it will stimulate your brain! A very tricky match-3 with power-ups and unique ways to solve the puzzles. Help the cute ghosts turn everything into gold! Sounds tricky? Well.. It is! Just like this entry in the game series is trickier than the rest! The levels themselves are hard but leave an impression and above all they are fun. So you will be glad it wasn't a piece of cake that required no thinking and ended in 10 minutes. The visual effects, animations and music will help a lot in keeping you calm and focused on the task at hand. If you are stuck, you can use the hint system, which I find very good, comprehensive and helpful. On top of that, they have added a beautifully crafted grimoire as help. It will keep you busy for hours but without overstaying its welcome and you can always replay it due to its nature. Featuring different modes, minigames and building your town!
