I had a blast! Legend of Fae is unexpectedly addicting! Some parts of the game haven't aged well, and it shows it came out in 2011, but the art is cute, the gameplay is fun, and I enjoyed exploring the world as it was before Fae Tactics and meeting familiar faces. The gem breaking and the elemental affinity mechanics were straightforward and easy to understand, yet mastering them took me some effort. The hard mode endgame definitely gave me a good challenge, and as the store page states, it was indeed a dangerous journey. I played the game in Kubuntu 24.04 with Proton, and it ran without issues.1 found this helpful
More Casual Puzzle Quest-ish game. The match three element is nice and it mixes things up from time to time. Unique art style and a nice little game.
Absolutely adorable and super fun, definitely recommend!
A match-3 puzzle game with rpg combat thrown on top. Managing both simultaneously can become hectic. Combat features scissors-paper-rock elemental weakness attacks charged by the matchmaking. Tries to mix things up in the genre but doesn't quite do enough to stand out.
No time for a review so I give this game a rank D. Mediocre game - sadly you can forget it.. See my profile for more details about my reviews.
If you like Match 3 Combat games this one is good. The visuals are nice and the mechanics are all solid. The story is fine as is the writing. The only real sour note to this game is the music which sounds fine really but often loops very poorly
