I loved, loved, LOVED the first Legendary Mahjong, so it was a no brainer for me to jump on this one as soon as it released, and I'm not disappointed. While it's a little less difficult than it's predecessor, there's nothing quite like being able to relax and work through some mahjong puzzles without timers, stress, or anything else getting in the way. That's not even mentioning the new Match-3 styled game mode that they added. I wasn't a huge fan of it at first, but after playing through all of the boards, I now need more. MORE! Do you hear me devs? I'll pay cash money for another game with JUST the Match-3 boards! I'll take some more slide puzzles too while you're at it. There are almost 600 boards to play through, Steam Achievements, and the game is much better optimized than the previous, although wide-screen can be a little buggy if you're playing on dual monitors. But for how much I enjoyed this one, it's a small gripe I can easily overlook. Casual gamers, grab this gem. I promise you won't regret it. And again. :-) Let's be honest. We've all played Mahjong before. We dismantled the puzzles brick by brick, were annoyed when we were stuck, were happy when we cleared them all. We have cleared different structures and always looked forward to new challenges. There are so many different Mahjong games out there that it's hard to create something really new. It happened. Welcome to LEGENDARY MAHJONG 2 Yes, the same Introduction i used for my LEGENDARY MAHJONG 1 Review last week. But it fits here also very well in. What can i say? For me the two LEGENDARY MAHJONG Games are counting to the best Mahjong Games out there. But there is one Point. Most Mahjong Games do have the same Routine. Find the same pairs and click them out and clean them all. Simple but mostly the same. Okay with thousands of different Forms. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2929520134 LEGENDARY MAHJONG 2 is putting the Fun on a new higher Level, because it is offering more. 7 different and varied Game Modes and a small but nice Story. Again help Kokopelli restoring the Temples in Shambhala. 1) Temple of Fire Classic Mahjong - Just find a pair and click it out. 2) Temple of Earth Track Mod…13 found this helpful
I have unlocked all the game modes now, and so feel like I'm ready to write a review. Even though this is the first Mahjong title I've bought on Steam, I have played Mahjong on PC before, and can make comparisons. From a purely technical standpoint, the game's very nice. Once you suffer through one minute of completely unnecessary story at the start, you will be treated to a clear interface, pleasant unobtrusive music and nice graphics. When you start playing, there is a customisation button at the bottom. It lets you customise your game visually, giving you, among other things, a choice of 5 backgrounds and up to 6 tilesets (depending on the game mode). The tilesets are not named in any way, so I will just describe them: - The default one. Looks weird. But it's high contrast and clear, I guess... - Traditional. The one used in every Mahjong game. Looks pleasant. - Traditional Bright. My favourite. Used to be the default in the first game of the series. - Traditional Simple. Seems to be simpler and clearer than the other traditional tilesets. - Numbers and Symbols. - Numbers and Letters. Now for the gameplay. There are 7 temples to choose from on the starting screen. Each is de…2 found this helpful
