Lenny Loosejocks in Space

Part of my childhood on dial-up internet back in the early 2000s. Frankly better than most mobile internet puzzle games these days, although I may be biased. The Jupiter puzzle is my archnemesis.

I remember this game from way back, and remember loving it! Playing it again 20 years later, it still has a lot of the charm intact. Is it worth 20 bucks? Probably not - the puzzles are fun (except for Mercury...) but will probably only last you around 2-ish hours. Still, if it's on sale, I'll happily throw a few bucks towards some gamedevs who left a fantastic mark on my childhood.

A nostalgic throwback and a classic, but could've used some quality-of-life additions to the steam release. Cons and nitpicks: - If you click on a planet, you are forced to land there. A cancel or back button would be nice. - If you hover over or click on a planet, it doesn't tell you if the bomb is already disarmed or not. They should've added an 'Armed' or 'Defused' status to planets that you can see without landing there. In fact, you should be able to see the code for any bombs you've defused by hovering/clicking a planet without being forced to land there. - There's no way to return to the main menu once you start playing; you have to completely exit the game. - When you do exit the game, it takes a while to actually stop (Steam will continue to say it's still running for a few minutes) If you played this growing up it might be worth it to support the creators and buy it. If this holds no nostalgic value to you I would wait for a sale (does this game ever go on sale?)

Very fun little nostalgia trip! Had a few crashes though, one right at the penultimate cutscene (where the aliens abduct Lenny). It did auto save at least, but reloading skipped the whole cutscene :( Man I forgot how hard as nails those slide puzzles were though... had to look up solutions for those 3 XO
