About Space Geekz - The Crunchy Flakes Conspiracy
Till and Adrian are in their mid 20s and working at the Space Geekz Corporation, delivering game consoles and arcade machines throughout the whole galaxy in their old rotten space freighter.
But one day, during Adrians regular 3h afternoon power-nap, something went terribly wrong: He wakes up with a big bump on his head, the TV is broken, the sink in the kitchen is clogged, there is no frozen pizza left, and even more worse: Till is gone and the freighter is grounded on an abandoned planet.
What looks like a normal work accident at first, is the beginning of a weird journey through a world full of radioactive crunchy flakes, stock trading cannibals, tasteless videogame parodies and honkyfants with digestive problems, packed into lots of entertaining point & click action from the good old 90s . Of course in pixelated Fake-VGA with amazing 256 colors!

Great old-shool Adventure Game, I played first at my friends house. Yeah the graphics are not fancy by modern standards, the sound is not 5.1 surround and you can really count the pixels on the screen. But you know what? The game makes a lot of fun to me. The puzzles are challenging, the black humor makes me smile and I get that nostalgic feeling while playing of the old Amiga days. To mention: The puzzles are getting more and more difficult during the game, sometimes a little crazy but never unfair. I also loved the entertaining characters "A salute to the honkifant!". On the con side: Some dialogue cannot be skipped and the controls can be a bit fiddly sometimes. Room for improvement here! So to sum up: pros: + graphics & sounds give you that pure early 90s feeling + great evil humor + challeging puzzles + funny characters + English & German Audio cons: + some dialogues can't be skipped + maybe quite difficult puzzles for beginners of the genre verdict: For 7,99 really a awesome funny little Adventure-Game I really enjoyed, not just for retro-fans.6 found this helpful
A fun point & click adventure game overall, with an amusing retro style and some genuinely funny moments. However, this one is held back by a couple of minor issues. First, a solid handful of the puzzle solutions come off as either random, illogical, or somehow misleading. You can usually get past this via the traditional point & click method of trying everything on everything else, but on two separate ocasions I genuinely found myself ground to a halt and needed a hint. The game has no built-in hint system, so this quite literally takes you out of the game. Second, though the translation is entirely coherent, it's very often clear that the script was never edited by someone whose first language is English. On the other hand, the game offers other language options, at least one of which is presumably fine on this point. (I have a hunch the game would be best played in German.) Overall a positive experience if you're in the mood for an indie point & click experience.4 found this helpful
