About LET ME OUT

"Every day for me is nothing but discouragement and despair. What is the point of living? For whom to live?
I have come to the place where it all began, where I used to live. Maybe this place will answer all my questions."

The protagonist comes to his hometown to search for answers. But when he finds the very place where it all began, his worst nightmares get in the way. The protagonist needs to figure out what is happening to him and put an end to all his horrors.
You need to explore creepy locations, collect notes, with which you need to find out what's going on in the head of the main character.
  • Darkness. There will be a lot of darkness on your path. You decide how to pass it - to surrender or to fight to the end.
  • Grim soundtrack. It is a representation of the main character's nightmares.
  • Three different endings. The main character's life depends on you.

Kind of a good game! The dark setting and heavy topic add a lot of depth if you really try to understand it. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the puzzles, but the overall experience was solid. The scares were really well done, with two standout moments that were awesome. My only downside is that it might feel a bit too expensive for what it offers, but still worth a try for those who appreciate atmospheric games with a psychological edge.

Lame, second puzzle makes absolutely no sense. Just decided to quit playing the game because i had completely forgot what it was even about.

LET ME OUT, developed by S1NGLE and published by ALONE GAMES, is a narrative-driven puzzle adventure that leans heavily on atmosphere, cultural storytelling, and emotional undertones rather than mechanical complexity. It follows Alvin, a young boy navigating a strange and unsettling village in search of his missing mother, gradually uncovering secrets tied to supernatural forces rooted in local folklore. From the beginning, the game establishes a tone that is more melancholic and mysterious than overtly frightening, inviting players to immerse themselves in its world rather than confront it head-on. The gameplay is centered on exploration and light puzzle-solving, with players moving through small, interconnected areas while interacting with objects and collecting items that unlock progression. The puzzles themselves are relatively straightforward, focusing on observation and logical connections rather than intricate systems or difficulty spikes. This makes the game accessible to a wide audience, but it also means that the challenge rarely becomes a defining feature. Instead, the act of solving puzzles feels secondary to the experience of uncovering the story and piecing together …

spent nearly an hour looking how to progress in the game and nothing. you start by walking into the woods coz who knows why and thats as far as i got, i walked around in the forest for almost a hour, made me walk in circles nothing but 2 notes saying "dark" stuff but nothin more, no dialog, not text to start the game or a story, tried walking in all different directions to make the game start but nothing would happen or change in this forest. I even tried restarting the game thinking my game had forgotten to game lol but nope still nothing. the only thing i could find was street lights in a forest that took me in circles

I would give this one a mixed review. It was very short, the enemy you encounter is very dumb and will follow you all the way to one of the many lockers just sitting around in a hedge maze and stare at you for a minute and then run away. Like wtf lol?

After 15 minutes of following the lamp guided path, made a second loop and found a bridge, but got stuck by the lamp post with complete loss of controls. Sprinting is exactly that, no cross-country trek through the forest, only short bursts of running. Load option actually starts a new game. Clock hands, despite it being stated otherwise, do NOT move. That's enough wasting time with this mess.
