I actually bothered to finished the game, twice, before posting this review. The goal of the game is to find 3 pages around the map, then go back to the starting cabin to select which page you think has the name of the maniac written on it. The location of the pages are non-random. Chosing one of the 2 wrong pages gets you the bad ending and choosing the right page gets you the good ending. There's no in-game clue as to which page is correct, it's mostly just using common sense. Besides pages, you also pick up health kits, water, and pills. Health kits restore your health, water restores your stamina, and it's unclear what pills do. There are two enemy types; wolves and the maniac. They don't seek you out, they're just positioned around the map and they attack you when you get too close to them. You run away from both of them, and they should lose track of you before you run out of stamina. The maniac walks around the village area and doesn't really do anything special besides chase you if you get too close. The outdoor map is actually pretty small; most of it is closed off with invisible walls at the edges. I've only found 4 points of interest; the cabin, the camp ground, the …

Looks nice on screenshots, but is otherwise a broken and abandoned mess.

Had this in my extensive library and decided to give it a shot to see what all the reviews are on about. You can only interact with what is outlined making exploring pretty boring. There's only random wolves that chase you and stop out of nowhere. No clear explanation of how you get aggro or how to lose it. There's so many major grammatical errors that I lost my desire to play pretty quickly. The only thing scary about this game is that it was released at all. I also just read the developer stating that they don't plan on making any updates to this game. I can't recommend this even out of curiosity.

Ok, So I've read the reviews and decided to go ahead with the game anyway's. This game has potential, Some things are a bit buggy and the sensitivity on the mouse is out of whack, but the genre of these Story Based single player scary type games are going to be a big thing in the near future (my opinion) and this one is built off the unreal engine so it has lot's of promise providing the content can be updated/new content created. I'm going to hang on to this game, It def creeped me out running around the dark foggy forest. I'm going to keep playing through until I run out of thing's to do. thumbs up for me, based on the potential of what the Devs will roll out on future updates.

Mouse sensitivity is put on insane. How great that I can't change it! Makes it hard to collect things...it's 2019 and you can't change that? Ran around for some minutes in a forest with no visible goal and no idea what to do. I'm kinda proud that I managed to play this for nearly 10 minutes! It's released A YEAR before it was announced to be. And it feels like that...
