✦ AI summary
Players praise this atmospheric indie horror game for its minimalist "less is more" approach, strong sound design, and oppressive labyrinth-like structure that becomes increasingly uncomfortable over time. However, some feel the roughly hour-long experience has pacing issues, particularly with certain music segments and the ending, though most agree it's worth playing if purchased at a sale price.
In Trapped, you wake up in a room. From there, you have to explore a brick-walled maze to find keys and clues, eventually unlocking a combination lock to enter the next level. All three levels have the same goal but it becomes more creepier more confusing the further you progress. It's a very basic and slow-paced game. Most of the time you can't run and the maze becomes so confusing that you might get lost for a while. There are a bunch of monsters roaming several parts of the maze and the sounds are really creepy. I think it's intended to be played in one setting, though the game remembers which level you reached. Even with the lack of graphical variety, I still think this is a pretty nice debut game from a single developer. It can be completed in about an hour.1 found this helpful

6.7 There are some parts of this that I loved, the less is more approach works so well and that added with some extra sprinkles in different areas of design really made it stand out in the indie horror 'genre'. A really well crafted piece. Other aspects I wasn't so much of a fan of, one of the music pieces near the end was not great, and it went on for way too long. The ending itself I was not too partial to either. It's like an hour long and if cheap enough I'd say is worth it
