Really low effort game that doesn't teach anything. There's better for free.6 found this helpful
I'm 100% serious when I say this is my favorite way of doing sudoku. My brain somehow comprehends the kanji clearer than numbers, it feels less cluttered and clearer. Therefore I can more easily see which number is missing, instead of having to count every row and block. The game also has real chill music, easy controlls, and speak the numbers out loud. When you finish a level there is also a spoken statement like "omedetou" or "ureshii" theres 4 difficulties with only 14 levels per difficulty, but imo its fair for the price. If you have interests in japanese and sudoku, I recommend it! (It doesn't teach you the kanji/numbers tho, but it does start with just 4 and then builds up, so it's no rocket science if you dont know beforehand)1 found this helpful
this is actually a great way to learn to count to 9, though you can do it with any standard sudoku app like i did... But i admit i didn't learn the Kanji so this is nice. It could use some basic Sudoku mechanics however like something that tells you when something is wrong, or something that will remove a number when you filled all that number of the board. Again though you could just do that with a pen an paper sudoku just write the Kanji yourself. It would of also been nice if they could of included 10, +, jū, tō. it also should say the alternate way to say the numbers like 4 is Yon or Shi while 10 is jū, tō
Mediocre experience. Essential must-haves are missing. There is no "note-taking," no feedback on wrong actions, and there is no "translucent" for numbers that are complete. The learning effect is hard to establish if the game itself can't keep you motivated to play.
the game doesnt actively do any teaching but its good for helping you remember the 1-9 kanji. nothing special but worth trying out
Nice colours and music.
