I bought this thinking that it would be a comic-like adventure game with role-playing elements, where I could make choices that mattered to the story. However, what I got was something like an average digital comic, where the reading was slowed down by a lot of boring fights which became extremely painful to play due to various bugs and generally bad programming. It made me quite disappointed.4 found this helpful
There were 3 promised volumes to be released for this game, This game is good, however I cannot recommend it as the developer has abandoned it for a game called Ghost Festival for an NFT platform called Phantasma. see here: https://medium.com/phantasticphantasma/amazu-x-phantasma-80290d498540 If the link gets removed just google Phantasma X Amazu here's an interesting tidbit from the article linked above "Also in 2021, Amazu will be releasing Light Apprentice Volume 2, the long awaited sequel for the cult game that mixes comic book and game in a way never seen before — an event that is expected to draw significant attention to iggynore and the Amazu brand!"3 found this helpful

Cute, charming, but overshadowed by several issues. The art style is nice, the comic-book narrative is well-made, and the soundtrack fits the game like a glove. The plot is interesting, although left unfinished. Combat allows for a pacifist playstyle, however, everything relies on QTE minigames. The quirky controls make it clear this is a mobile port, and there are a few bugs that can freeze or softlock the game, forcing you to reload the checkpoint. [b]Achievement hunters, beware:[/b] there are two broken achievements and no hope for a fix.
It's got a lot going for it, but the ingame bugs that occur make it so irritating to play. If you got patience it's enjoyable though. Also, beating the game on higher difficulties does not given completion for lower difficulties, which is a flaw in any game. Also some achievements don't appear to trigger properly, so if you're just playing for the story it is pretty enjoyable.
