About Light your Way

Wake up! You are ready to be born, a deep journey awaits you.

> Light up your path

It’s only you and a destination to reach in what appears to be an empty space.
Hidden platforms reveal themselves only when you stand on them or when you hit them with a mysterious ball.

> Manipulate special platforms and overcome the obstacles

As your journey unfolds, new types of platforms will emerge, each with a distinct purpose.
Master them to move forward. But platforms aren’t the only challenge. New obstacles will reshape your understanding of the game and force you to adapt.

> Dive in the mind of the character

Each world represents a stage of the character’s journey, expressed through poetic narration.
Existential questions emerge: will you be able to answer them?

The game concept is fine but It needs some changes : The sections where you have to go by memory should be made so you can go without but slower . There should be a barrier in the void that destroys the ball . Having to press right click every time is annoying. Game is also short . Finished in 1.2 hours and then spent some minutes for achievment that is level specific and I am lazy to try every map . The thing is that I finished the game and can still refund it since it s within 2 hours . The game is fine if you wanna play and for 2 bucks its fine but not the best game . It still needs development but for your *first game* I am gonna say approved . Edit: It could have some more mechanics as well .

The game's core mechanic is very original and rarely seen in other titles, certainly not implemented in this exact way, and it manages to deliver some truly unconventional gameplay moments.

Ah yes, A Ball in the Dark, my favorite survival horror series. Pretty neat puzzle platformer, I could definitely see this getting a bigger release and/or a sequel further fleshing it out with more levels and more mechanics (regardless, at the current price, it's quite the sweet deal for whoever wants to have some fun with this sort of game, it has just enough levels to get your brain some "aha!" dopamine moments). I must say there could be some improvements on the puzzles that require you to memorize the layout as you go blind through the newly open paths you organized (nothing too serious, as the game does have some anti-frustration safety nets once you progress further enough to move some key platforms around; in the sense that, if you fall, you can progress with not much harm being done to your efforts). But it could definitely have had some further hints or means to refresh your memory somehow, I kinda did it old-school style, so there was no problem on my end (as in, I just draw in a piece of paper where the geometry connected to remember my way through), but nowadays these little things are usually included in-game, like a notes menu for you to fill in case of need, or li…
