This game has some nostalgia for me, I remember playing it on my phone growing up. I gotta say, it aged well and I'm so glad I was able to play it again. Though there are a few bugs, the game makes up for it with a relaxing and rewarding experience. The story is simple yet loving, and I wish there was more. I'd definitely recommend if you want something unique to chill out to.3 found this helpful
I had fun playing Lili: Child of Geos and think it sports an endearing personality and visual style. Personally I think that It's distinct stance on adversity/conflict generally fits very well into the game's theme. It's a quaint experience, with it's mobile roots being moderately noticeable but at no great detriment to the gameplay and overall experience.
"Wake up, and Smell the Flowers..." Child of Geos is for all intents and purposes, a Very Humble game. Designed like it had origins as an iOS Mobile Game it follows the Titular Lili as she goes about Solo on an ancient island inhabited by Arboreal Automatons and Spiteful Spirits looking for a Deus ex Flora for her College Assignment. Whilst we know why she's going there we're still left with many other "Why's" like "Why is there an Island full of Wooden Golems?" "Why are these Spirits merely confined to this Landmass?" And "Why do they need to eat soup?" Many of these... Are unanswered sadly. Gameplay harkens back to my earlier comment about it being a Mobile game, to get these flowers you need to Click & Drag the flowers off the spirit after Beligerating them; all the while avoiding thorns and removing Bombs. It certainly feels more like it should be dragging them off with your fingertips. Overall it's not a Bad game, sure it suffers from a simple Gameplay loop, and the Secondary Writing suffers heavily from Dated, Base Pop Culture References. But even then it lends itself as a Less Intense, easygoing game for a Reasonable price.
This is definitely a fun little game with unique a gameplay loop! A good pick if you want a short laid-back adventure mixed with some action mini-games.
Charming and relaxing, nice to run around and explore the island and do little tasks to progress the game.
Visually stunning game, lots of places to explore and reexplore! I absolutely adore this game
