Game is beautiful but in the state I played it - It's unplayable. I couldn't figure how to rotate objects and going into the options menu every single option closed my game. I had clicked several buttons to change the color or move objects I had placed and it would just undo every single thing I did and I would have to start from scratch. I would try to delete an object I placed and the building would rotate instead and not even delete the object until I tried to do it several times. The interface is confusing and unhelpful - especially since most of the buttons don't even do what they said they would do - opting instead to do something completely random. The universal "Help" icon would simply just wipe the slate clean. The settings cog would undo my last action. You get a brief layout of what the buttons do at the begging but nothing does what it says it does. Also the music would change randomly when I would select objects so the relaxing sound track turned very frustrating very quickly since it would change every time I clicked on things. I WOULD turn it off in the settings - but again, I cant even do that because the settings button in the menu just closes my game. It's not …2 found this helpful
Absolutely beautiful and chill little game! Great relaxing music and atmosphere that makes you forget your real life worries for a while. The art style is very pretty and pleasing, and weather/filter options (especially the rainy city night style) are gorgeous and bring lot of environmental variety to the game. I didn´t encounter any bugs. The only complaints I have is that I had trouble finding if disabling UI is possible, and currently there are not that many items in the game, but it is definitely worth the price. 9,5/102 found this helpful
This is a beautiful game . Simple and easy to get into . I love making different houses and having pedestrians just walk on by . Game is great if you don't have much time in your hands . No objectives to reach and no puzzles to solve . Just build houses or buildings and that's it . Happy to recommend the game .
I finally played Lonely House after playing the demo over a year ago, and while I do really like the visual style, I don’t feel much more inspired by the full version than I did from that demo. I'm marking this as a positive recommendation but if there was an option for something in the middle it would firmly be in that category. The game has a really nice look, and the graphics run smoothly, which makes it pleasant to sit with and build in. I can see the appeal if you enjoy small diorama-style building games with a slightly grungy, urban feel. HOWEVER I found myself wanting a lot more objects and clutter to help give the builds more personality. There is a huge section for graffiti and wall light art, which is cool, but when I wanted to make something like a rooftop garden or fill out balconies, the options felt quite limited. More large wall pipes, general clutter, broken wall decals, trash bags, hole in the ground, and more rooftop details would really help sell that lived-in, gritty atmosphere. The balconies in particular felt a little empty, and I wanted more ways to make each area feel used, messy, abandoned, or personal rather than just decorative with a chair and tabl…
this could be a quick cozy game to enjoy, but in its current state it lacks content and clarity for the player.
A great and relaxing game for exterior design. I loved playing it a lot, though I hope in the future there's an option to toggle on and off motion blur, to help for people who aren't able to handle it due to motion sickness like myself. And I'm looking forward to more items and even a workshop to make the game even more fun to play. I love games where you can decorate things to your liking, this is one of the hidden gems for me. Big recommend. I'd also like to see if theres more maps I can use too.
