In some weird twist of my gaming addiction, I have become a fan of hidden object games. Perhaps my attention span is waning or I have grown weary of mind-bending puzzles. I now take great pleasure in the focus that is required to look for cats, dogs, or (in this case) aliens. I also like a game I can enjoy in short bursts. Looking for Aliens quickly became my top pick in the Hidden Object genre. It is hand drawn and lets you step into a fascinating miniature world filled with activity. The scenes are in perpetual motion with a bustling community of characters, creatures, and spaceships. You are looking for a specific set of objects and characters within each area. Every item on your "find" list has an associated clue that gives you a pointer but not a solution. With 25 levels, this game kept me busy for almost 14 hours. Progress is saved on exit so you can play as long as you like and then go back to real life at your convenience. Achievements are related to finishing levels (completing all tasks and finding all items and cards). Nice game. It has a great design, but there are so many huge levels that you get tired after a while
I mean, you just pretty much click on everything to find all the hidden objects. While I love hidden object games, the trial and error method is not really my cup of tea. I will leave the thumbs up because the game is well made.
If you like HOG's, don't hesitate. This is a good one.
A fun hidden object game. Really like that it's a bit more challenging than others in this genre. 7/10
Love the music, the art, the Alien concept, it's all so cute! The best hidden object game I've played, and it's challenging! :)
