About Looney Rally
Get behind the wheel of a racing rally car or a truck and go head to head against other rival AI racers in gorgeous locations, from the hot unforgiving desert, to the icy mountains or volcanic island. Climb hills, race down slopes, speed through obstacles and beat the other AI players. Do you have what it takes to win all races, become first and unlock new locations and vehicles?
Each race earns you points, which you can spend on cars and tracks. Try to collect the most pickups to increase your overall awarded points after each race.
The cars take damage, if you're low on vehicle health your engine will explode. But fear not, harder race tracks have pickups, which will restore your car by 50%. If you're low on health just go through one such pickup and fix your vehicle.
The game features leaderboards for each level, meaning you can compare your time against that of everyone else. Try to get as higher in the rankings as you possibly can.
Be careful of which vehicle you choose for the different tracks. Some cars or trucks are better suited for the given track, while others, even though faster, will not be the best choice. Choose wisely!
A score(in seconds) is posted every time you get a better result in the current track. This means, that each time you complete a lap on a given track your best time on this location is compared to your previous posted time on this track and, if the time is better, a new score is posted on the leaderboard.
Want to climb higher in the leaderboards? Give your car some boost. Upgrade your engine and downforce. This will improve your car's speed, acceleration and grip, meaning you'll take those turns faster, reducing your overall time.

Looney Rally is the sort of game that breaks hearts among gamers. A game that has SUCH potential, combined with fatal flaws that developers have no interest in discussing or defending, much less fixing. First off, I can’t believe that the developers of Looney Rally are gamers, because no gamer would ever present the (non-rebindable) controller setup that this game offers. It’s bad enough to use a controller joystick as accelerator, but to also use that very same stick as means to change camera angles (by clicking) is beyond useless…it’s game context dangerous. In a game with no challenge it’s possible that the stick would never receive that tiny bit of extra pressure that suddenly changes the view you had, to….whatever new and unfamiliar sight is next in sequence after your ACTUAL camera choice. This is not that game, and every tiny bit of extra pressure means losing the current race seconds into it. As such, this becomes the first driving game I’ve played (out of many dozens, AAA and indie) where the controller availability must be ignored in preference to the less desirable and effective keyboard. An additional problem with Looney Rally is that the normally used camera view isn…10 found this helpful
Looney Rally Positives: + I like the idea + two of the tracks are cool + cartoon theme + you can finish the game in about 2 hours Negatives: - the first cars are way to underpowered - it feels like driving in slow motion - almost no sense of speed - the handling is more or less awful - physics are so so - a lot of bugs and glitches - bad graphics - it takes a lot of time to unlock everything - not enough tracks to keep you interested I liked the idea of a cartoon rally game. But unfortunately this feels more like early access than a finished game. If you want to unlock everything, you need to drive underpowered cars on the same few tracks over and over. And that feels both boring and grindy. This game needs a lot of work, so get back to the drawingboard please. Total Score: 3.5/101 found this helpful
