Played though the whole game, it was lots of fun. I hope to see lot more from the devs... Little junky and unpolished at times. But It was worth the wait and price. I highly suggest getting it.10 found this helpful
I really like this game. It feels a little clunky at times, but the pixel art is so nice and I like the story so far. Some of the fights were a little too hard like the last battle, but it was still fun, and I thought the combat mechanics were nice and I liked how it looked. I also really liked the music and the way the game colour-coded emotions in text. I thought it was pretty cool. Overall a nice game and I enjoyed it!7 found this helpful
I don't normally write reviews for games I buy but i gotta say this game pleasantly surprised me and I just felt compelled to come and leave a review. After seeing this game at steam next fest back in June and checking out a few trailers and gameplay, i felt like I had to give this game a try. Primarily because I'm big lover of indie and story driven games and especially games set in feudal Japan. Onto the review. This game didn't dissapoint. The story is deep and complex and will have you invested from the moment you start playing. Just when you think you have the story figured out, a big twist in the plot comes in and knocks down everything you believed. Not gonna spoil anything but it's fantastic. The combat mechanics are deep too and add to the replayability value. When you just start you'll be getting thrashed quite a bit as each enemy is unique in the way you have to approach them in combat but you'll learn to adapt as you play on. More moves are added as you play and it'll give you more tools on how to defeat a particular enemy as you progress. You really have to get creative and you can approach a fight multiple ways. Really fun and challenging combat! The beautiful pixel art backgrounds and chill music set the perfect vibe and let you focus on the rich, engaging story. Definitely worth the price, highly recommend if you’re into narrative-driven games with satisfying gameplay.5 found this helpful
