Solid dicebuilder.1 found this helpful
While i dislike rougelites that are not designed to be beaten on the first play-though, this on is still fine. I feel like balance is all over the place, with the runs being barely possible to win ending up too easy after you get some unlocks. It's fine for what it is, but i think it spreads itself too thin to get more playtime out of you.
for a $10 game with a demo, suuuuper underated and fun to play
Good dicebuilder, recommended!
A fun, well designed dice builder. There's several systems at play here: + Dice capacity makes you carefully choose what you put on what face + Dice upgrades let you more heavily customize dice + Dice face synergies can let you really boost one die or combos between multiple There's a few classes to try, a few different maps you can play in different orders if you want, enemies are interesting to fight, and each run presents you with numerous choices (mainly dice faces and buff relics). A rock solid dice roguelite if that's your thing.
A modest, effective game. Much better than expected at this price point! As far as 8 dollar games go, better than the vast majority. Not the most content, but decent. Unfortunately not many bosses to choose from. The first playthrough seems slightly rigged, but is still totally winnable with good play. Grind is minimal as after 1 win, you've unlocked the majority per character, which SHOULD be seen as positive. Some minorly annoying UI issues, but nothing serious. Mostly it's clean and efficient. Its main weakness is not much innovation unless you are unfamiliar with games that let you design your throwable dice. There's the boring old vulnerable, poison, weak and etc. But building your 'deck' and adjusting the odds through editing dice is very satisfying.
