Lumo 2 is an interesting mishmash of retro gaming, puzzling, and platforming, with loads of hidden content to locate along with some challenging and frustrating sections. I enjoyed Lumo 2 and its challenging array of mini games and puzzles. The game feels original and is quite diverse with the rooms providing you with a different challenge every time. Some of these rooms were very difficult, especially because the controls felt slightly wonky. For example, in one room there are some thin conveyor belts going in different directions and the idea is to run against the movement to stay on them, and then react quickly when you move onto another one travelling in a different direction. Okay, no problem I thought, but the freedom of movement allowed on the belts means any slight deviation from your controller thumb stick sends the guy falling to oblivion and starting the level again, so beware that some tasks like this can cause a bit of frustration and there is no keyboard support! Another potential boiling point is the platforming because it really isn't obvious where the guy is landing and you have to go more by feel than anything else. There is loads of trial and e…

Really loved Lumo 1 and highly recommend you play that if you have not already. Super excited for the sequel and glad to be a day 1 supporter. 7+ hours in and still missing secrets, collectibles, and haven't seen a definitive ending or credits roll. I am going to wait until some guides get posted because I want to get to 100% but this game's secrets are elusive. Lumo 2 is different in a few ways, with this advice you will have a better time: -It is hard. I assume it was a design choice to make it "old school hard" but there are some rooms you will repeatedly die and bang your head against. Not a criticism, just know that Lumo 1 was more forgiving and 2 is more challenging. So be patient. -Draw a map as you go. I got twisted around and eventually had to use pen and paper to make a map. I love doing this, I wish I would have done it sooner. You should draw a map from the start. Trust me. -The secrets are very tough. If you like a challenge to get 100% this is your game. If you are like me and like to look at guides when you get stuck, maybe wait until guides/videos are made. -My only criticism is that a certain elevator song that is a musical masterpiece about holding…

Thought I'd give it an hour on a sunday arvo and fell into it for 5 without realising Really nicely designed and paced, very polished and a well executed premise.

Firstly Wow! Not normally my kind of game and I did struggle with the controls and views throughout the game but pushing forward revealed better puzzles than the ones that came before, The mechanics work well and I was honestly surprised by how much I loved the game, I never played Lumo so if your looking for some classic puzzles you can just jump into without needing to know the backstory of the previous game this is one of those that you can... Getting 100% on this will be a challenge but a fun challenge, Amazing game 💚💙
