I see no real reason to recommend this over many better games from this genre that actually do something interesting.

I had Machick 2 on my Wishlist. So when I got this as part of a "mystery key bundle", I was excited to try it. After playing this, I've removed Machick 2 from my Wishlist and won't buy it even on sale. The only way I might play it is if I also get it as a part of a "mystery key bundle". The reason why is simple ... bugs. This game has so many bugs it's freaking annoying as all hell! You won't notice many of them till they actually screw you over. At first, the only bug I noticed was the enemy sprite layering. Some enemy sprites appeared in front of others when they shouldn't, and it looks weird, but it's not a big deal. Then I had the audio from Salt Rain bugging and continuing to play / audio getting muffled after the match, where the only fix for either is to close the game and launch it again. Muffled audio is one thing, but having the audio from Salt Rain blaring all the time loudly is actually annoying. Then I noticed other issues. Sometimes levelling up breaks and you can't select upgrades when you level up. It might happen at level 80, it might happen at 120, who knows! But the sooner it breaks, the harder the rest of the run will be. Your HUD will also sometimes not …

It's a cute and fun game to play if you want to kill an hour. I think it's hilarious when the screen gets crazy enough to crash my poor laptop (it's not a gaming laptop). I like the cute graphics and I personally think its a fun game. I would love to play it to its full potential when I get a better pc!

It is an OK game. Has a few bugs, the audio is sometimes super loud for no reason, the rain sound constantly plays even when salt rain isnt equipped etc. but nothing too major just annoying things. The gameplay itself is pretty decent but after 2-3 rounds (about 30-40 minutes of gameplay) you unlock basically everything and that's it. There are 5 level but I had to force myself to play the last 2 level because at this point it got very repetitive already. Overall I would say it's an ok game and if you lust for more survivor games give it a go but for the price it is just not worth it in my opinion. There are better free survivor games, games with the same polish for 1 euro and games with much more content and overall gameplay for the same price so it is not inherently bad but just not worth the money.
