About Mages of Osmea

Become a mage and fight the corrupted monsters threatening the peace of Osmea. Invent your own spells ranging from multi-stage projectiles to area effects or healing and speed buffing spells.
Invite your friends to help you in battle against waves of monsters and powerful enemies. Tinker around and finetune your arsenal of spells and level up your attributes until you are strong enough to challenge the 3 bosses who are at the root of the corruption.

Spell Creation

Use a powerful editor to create new spells and customize every aspect. Design projectiles that follow enemies or heal friends. They can even trigger more projectiles in multiple stages or end in an area of effect. Tune self targetting spells to heal yourself or give you a speed boost.

Specialization

Specialize your playstyle with skills such as adding chaining damage that jumps to nearby enemies, make area effects move with you, or add healing over time to your healing projectiles.

PLEASE UPDATE! It is really fun and unique- nearly unlimited spell customization and easy to understand gameplay. It just needs new content: more enemies, objectives, spells, bosses, etc. Sell it for a dollar or something! Just don't let this die...
Note: Dead Multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is an exceedingly poor quality 2D retro top down shooter with awful graphics and gameplay so bugged you'll be lucky if you can even play it. Which you can't anyway because there are no other players, because this really is a bad game. There's a magic spell theme to the shooter, and a mechanic where you can create your own spell attacks, but that's the kind of feature that needs a remotely tolerable game to sit on. Which is absent here. So, "Mages of Osmea" is a dead multiplayer game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every multiplayer exclusive game on Steam fails. Developers often assume just because they published their game, it's going to "go viral". I'm guessing this is a case of the developers making this game in complete isolation without even bothering to look at what other multiplayer games on Steam already offer. There's fierce competition in the multiplayer game arena... and I'm not referring to players fighting other players.…

It's kinda fun actually. A little brutal to learn but fun. The forge should fill up with pieces as we return them, maybe like a pie chart.

after i installed it at the recommendation of a friend, it asked to pick a profile. selected first one and started the game and immediately disappeared and got the respawning message and couldn't do anything. the spell menu also is completely broken as it keeps showing errors. hopefully it gets resolved because on start i couldn't play
