Mahjong Magic Journey 3 is a basic mobile-app like mahjong tile matching/solitaire game. Solve various puzzle levels made of stacked mahjong tiles, removing tiles by clicking on matching pairs. It's been done a million times before, for free, and free on mobile app stores too... yet this one has a hefty price tag on it. Who knew you can just charge $5 for mobile trash? I guess Creobit/8Floor does. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game TWENTY FIVE TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list of Creobit's copy + pastes of this asset:

Asian Mahjong
Christmas Mahjong
Great Dynasties Mahjong
Halloween Night Mahjong
Halloween Night Mahjong 2
Jurassic Mahjong
Mahjong Business Style
Mahjong Carnaval (sic)
Mahjong Carnaval 2 (sic)
Mahjong Gold
Mahjong Gold 2, Pirate's Style
Mahjong Magic Journey
Mahjong Magic Journey 2
Mahjong Magic Journey 3
Mahjong Royal Towers
Mahjong Travel
Mahjong Valentine's Day
Mahjong World Contest
Mahjong World Contest 2
Royal Mahjong King…3 found this helpful

2024 edit: review text unchanged but played another one of these reskins a few years later and can't recommend them anymore. this is an umbrella review for mahjong world contest and the mahjong magic journey series, as they are identical. your goal is not to remove every tile from the board, only the golden ones in as few moves as possible. points are awarded for remaining tiles and can be multiplied if you're quick enough, but there's no time limit on the levels. you get a star for completing each level and two more if you manage to do the other objectives, which are mostly a move limit and a score to reach (good luck with that). getting enough stars is necessary to unlock all 6 level packs with 20 levels each, then unlock and complete levels one by one. the graphics are nice, the music is great, and it's overall recommended, but there are a few things to keep in mind. first of all, the multiplier timer keeps going down even if you alt+tab or bring up the pause menu, which can be a huge problem if you're going for 3 stars on every level, but to unlock everything, you can get away with a bunch of 2 stars. another thing is the reshuffle button, which pretty …1 found this helpful
It's Mahjong. Crazy.1 found this helpful
Mahjong Magic Journey 3, developed by Creobit and published by 8floor, is a casual puzzle title that continues a familiar formula built around mahjong solitaire mechanics, wrapped in a light fantasy setting. It presents itself as part of an ongoing magical journey, but the narrative element is largely decorative, serving more as a thematic backdrop than a driving force. The real focus is on delivering a steady stream of tile-matching puzzles that are easy to pick up and play, catering primarily to players who enjoy relaxed, low-pressure gameplay. The core mechanics remain faithful to traditional mahjong solitaire. Each level presents a layered arrangement of tiles, and the objective is to clear the board by matching identical pairs that are not blocked by others. The game introduces small variations through level-specific goals, such as collecting certain types of tiles or completing stages within particular constraints. These additions provide a bit of structure and purpose beyond simple clearing, encouraging players to think more carefully about which matches to prioritize. As the game progresses, layouts become more intricate, requiring greater attention to sequencing and plann…
