Not the best war game ive played but certainly decent. it isnt as bad as the negative reviews say but it does need alot of work2 found this helpful
the enemy have aim Bot the guns have way to much recoil specially on full auto, also guns have way to much bloom and can see anything i am hitting. The game seams fun but needs polishing.1 found this helpful
I genuinely want to love this game. The art style is fun, Market Garden is a fun little overlooked campaign. But the friendly AI has the IQ of a lukewarm bowl of soup, the enemy AI is similar but know how to not look at you and still pump a full mag into you, and it just becomes frustrating to even clear a single point. Cover doesn't work, you will take damage randomly from a German somehow hitting you despite not even looking at you. Thank god it's free
An underrated gem for fans of 00s titles like COD2, World at War, Brothers in Arms etc. The negative reviews all complaining about hitscan enemies are way too harsh - the higher difficulties are indeed brutal, but you can fully enjoy the game on easy and complete all achievements in a little under 4 hours. The point of accurate enemies is to force you to actually fight cautiously, which makes the combat feel more believable - if you stick to cover, make sure you don't let the AI flank you (and they will, it's surprisingly clever at times), make use of your grenades strategically, and never rush forwards, you'll be fine. Careful, methodical action is what this genre of shooter is about - think about it as a "milsim-lite" and you'll be in the right mindset to enjoy this game. I'd also like to add, the visuals look really nice. It's a highly impressive project for a solo dev and I'm sad it hasn't received the amount of love it deserves. Considering it's free, this is a must-play for anyone who likes WW2 games. I would happily have recommended it if it wasn't free too.
Honestly a pretty fun game it can be a little hard or confusing at times but overall it's pretty neat. I am not a big fan of the muzzle flash/gun handling though but that's ok it's still fun either way. I hope it gets more improvements in the future.
I really enjoyed playing this game, sure it's not COD, but for the price and considering it's from a single dev and a complete change from the usual WW2 games. I just loved the retro feel so 10 out of 10 for me.
