Medal of Honor: Airborne

i wish EA start making MOH again :(

If any world war 2 game needs a reboot/remaster its this one.

Banger of a game, love it.

Choppy cutscenes, missing weapon models, rubberbanding in a solo game and reloading a save for some reason maxed mouse sensitivity and the only way to fix it was to relaunch the game. Once got stuck between a wall and a medkit since I was full health and the game just couldn't calculate that geometry. Getting stuck on level geometry was common throughout. Not sure how much of the jank was there originally or from playing on new hardware. No way to know with EA being terrible. Being able to do objectives in a non linear fashion was nice but ultimately doesn't matter since you can clear the map but enemies just spawn where they need to be at the next new objective added. Cleared a town hall, then go destroy some flak guns and the town hall is suddenly full again with a new objective to kill the officers. The weapon upgrades happen right in the middle of gameplay and its super annoying and often hinders the combat. Some of the upgrades are not even that great like the scope on the gewehr and stg that are somehow worse than the ironsights. Great single player option.

While the cutscenes are still cool, the game hasn't aged well—relying on punishing checkpoint loops, zero health regen, no way to carry medkits, and machine-gunners that drop you in just four shots alongside pinpoint-accurate bazookas and endless grenade spam, making it a tough slog unless you're fueled by pure nostalgia. Not recommended if you easily get frustrated. This is coming from a person who had played Medal of Honor psp, Most WW2 cods including the psp Road to Victory, BF1 and BF5, Brothers In Arms Road to Hill 30 CD and Hell's Highway. This by far the most uneventful and frustrating game mechanics in my opinion
