worth the wait. the bossfights are very unique and the gameplay feels fresh even tho its a sequel. the artstyle and writing has a lot of personality and life in it, and the story is fantastic for the first chapter of a game that took me 3 hours to beat. overall id say its a very enjoyable experience and worth the money. also its an honor to be a very small part in the making of the games soundtrack, which is also one of the best soundtracks ive ever heard for a videogame like this. the marsh series is a great reminder why indie artists need to exist. the game is buggy on launch but after a few updates and fixes it will be perfect.2 found this helpful
You play as a squishy marshmallow beating up sentient objects for some reason and travel through dimensions to save the world. Now in 3D. Gameplay is fine and challenging, and the minigames are a nice touch. Music isn't too bad and the design is neat with conventional objects trying to torch you in Cuphead-esque boss battles. The only issue is that you need to pick up ammo to shoot and even if you aren't shooting, you slowly lose ammo. I would say more, but there's not enough content to see where this will go or if the story will be enough to keep it going. It definitely has charm but right now, that's all it has right now. Still looking forward to what else they have in store, but time will tell.
