About Martial Arts: Capoeira
Martial Arts: Capoeira, is based on Capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts. Capoeira is a Brazilian fight-dance, game, and martial art created by enslaved Africans during the 16th Century. Participants form a roda (circle) and take turns playing instruments, singing, and sparring in pairs in the centre of Martial Arts: Capoeira. The game is marked by fluid acrobatic play, feints, subterfuge, and extensive use of groundwork, as well as sweeps, kicks, and headbutts. Technique and strategy are the key elements to playing a good game.
Martial Arts: Capoeira is at his base a classical beat’em up, but with a strong influence from RPG games where you can enhance and personalize the fighters. You will always face new challenges and new experience, as every time you create a new Career mode session, you have the opportunity to chose different approach and strategies, spreading skill points differently and challenging tournaments in different ways.
Features:
- 12 fighters with their own characteristics
- 13 real world locations
- Exciting career mode
- Customizable character development
- Thrilling local multiplayer mode

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's exceptional soundtrack as its strongest feature, making it worth experiencing for music alone. However, most criticize the clunky, unresponsive controls, heavy and loose character movement, lack of controller support despite claims otherwise, minimal graphics options, and outdated visuals that collectively make the gameplay feel uncomfortable and difficult to control.
Who was expecting a masterpiece? You buy a game like this for the music - I wasn't disappointed. (It helps that I think 3D fighters are far superior (if done well) to 2D 'footsie' fighters, so might as well support the game for that too) (Not saying it's a great 3D Fighter, but you buy it to support the genre) Note it does support controllers, don't know why some people say it doesn't. Just get it, probably the best music you'll hear in years, : P (no joke)3 found this helpful
I would like to recommend Martial Arts: Capoeira for everybody.
Would be a decent game for Capoeira fans but the complete lack of the use of a controller makes this game unplayable. I wasted money I can't get back. Don't waste yours on this.
I played the tutorial and never felt like I was in control of my character for a second. Everything feels simultaneously super heavy and incredibly loose. Like the slightest touch will make your character move, but it all feels so slow and heavy. I'd really like it if it was more polished, and it was only £2 so it's not like I was expecting Street Fighter 5 or something, but I found it just really uncomfortable to play.
oh yeah
Slow, unresponsive, clunky, almost not options at all, you can only change sound volume liek in mobile game, no video options no button remapping controller support nothing, on top of that game looks very outdated and very hard for the eyes.
