A glamorous spy dances and charms her way across Europe, though the game plays less like a gripping espionage thriller and more like a graceful, restrained period drama. Even so, its Belle Époque atmosphere has an undeniable allure.14 found this helpful
Ce jeu est une vraie daube.4 found this helpful
I enjoy the atmosphere and audiovisuals, but puzzles are kinda easy and the game has way too much walking back and forth that wastes time. Overall though, if you don't have a better point& click to play you might enjoy it, but it's rather too average for someone who's not specifically interested in the genre.4 found this helpful
Dancing shadows, spy jokes, and graphics that sparkle like fireworks at midnight. I’m thrilled and can’t stop playing this adventure!2 found this helpful
Reviewing games I played a long time ago: Released right in the middle of the "point & click adventures are dead" era, when no one apart from German studios dared to make new games, Mata Hari was competent but perfectly encapsulated the state of the genre at the time: Stale, unimaginative and outdated. However, there's some strong points in here, mainly about the presentation and atmosphere of the time period of Art Nouveau Europe before WWI. We don't have enough games set during that time. Puzzles are easy, game is short, but you'll have a lot of backtracking. I'll give a thumbs up, but should be read as "mixed".2 found this helpful
