Do you know how bad a game has to be to refund 89 CENTS?! While almost working out of the box, it does require the Legacy PhysX driver to get the NPCs and player to move at a consistent speed. The actual gameplay? It's awful, I have played stealth games less linear from the '90's. Velvet Assassin barely qualifies of a hallway stealth game. The "stealth" consists of hiding in shadows. That's it, because the game forces you to kill every single NPC you encounter. Thief: The Dark Project came out over ten years ago when Velvet Assassin was released and had a full stealth system in place involving lighting AND sound. A full map you could explore with different ways to go and options to stay truly hidden from guards. Velvet Assassin? Hey duck in that shadow and stab that guy repeat for every single encounter. For something classified as "stealth" there sure is almost none going on. From encountering armed guards (Germans with shotguns? Really? Really?) that will see you across the room behind a wall while opening a door. Or my favorite turning the lights off in one area made them see you. Do not let the screenshots fool you. This is an awful game with terminal boredom levels of linear…5 found this helpful
A very dumbed-down Splinter Cell, but set during WWII. -No parkour. -Unfair level design that often forces you into combat. -Questionable game mechanics. Like, what do you mean I have to find a weapon when I literally just walked past multiple guns? The game is based on Violette Szabo, so if you're a WWII history geek, you'll probably appreciate that it shines a light on her story. But the ending... oof. I didn't know how to react. I guess it's a realistic way to end the game, considering what happened in real life. I'd recommend it to WWII history enthusiasts, but I wouldn't recommend it to the average gamer.3 found this helpful

First, ignore reviews of those saying they can't install the game "so it's bad", they're LAZY. Open the community tab and just look at the first post, It will tell you how, READ. Second, the positive reviews are either paid or checked out of life, cuz this game is the WORSE stealth game in this reality... (For now) Also I got this game around 2012 for like .85c... even on sell it's a waste if money. THEY NEED TO MAKE THIS FREE IF ANYTHING. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mind you I played this on the hardest difficulty... This game is absolute DOG WATER, do NOT buy even as a goof. AND if for some ungodly reason you do. CHEESE this game, hug corners, just do anything to brake this game, cuz that's all you can do. - The enemies will spawn in at random times, most times behind you, you can be in complete cover and the enemy will still find/see you. - Once the alarm is triggered, the enemies will auto target you, and know you're position, EVEN if you move... that's bad gameplay. Period. - Most times you can have the enemy in your sights, and the hit/damage won't even register. BUT if they shoot at you, you'll be instantly…
