What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's engaging mission variety, distinct mechs and vehicles with varied playstyles, and deep weapon customization that keeps combat fresh and rewarding. The visual style is noted as clean and effective, making the action easy to follow while maintaining detail. Some criticism centers on controller support feeling clunky, particularly on Steam Deck, with the game playing better with mouse and keyboard.
This is a lot of bang for my buck. Go play the demo, see for yourself (progress is saved for the actual game as well).1 found this helpful
Sometimes I come home tired, and I just want to blow stuff up and not think too hard. This game is great for that. Do note that the game is still work in progress. The tech tree is about half way developed - you can research half way into tier 3, with 5 being the max. The various unlocks keep you coming back, and the few escort missions are actually fun, with the escorting target being an ATAT walker brisling with heavy weaponry, far from defenseless. The things I wish the game would improve upon are the reload speed on the weapons, and the effectiveness of the smaller weapons. The music is pleasant, but nothing eye catching. Nevertheless, I had a pretty great time playing this. And if you just want a pretty casual game where you get to blow up enemies with vehicles + mechs you customize, then this is it.
Yeah, it's great and a total steal on sale for $6 or $7. Plays like Brigador, which you should also try. Yes, I only have 1 hour of playtime, but the levels aren't overly long, unless your vehicle is slow and you decide to backtrack for an objective. In my playtime, I've probably completed close to 2 dozen missions, unlocked 6 vehicles, and got to to the 2nd tier of upgrades. The game doesn't try to drag things out and just keeps you hooked, progressing, and consistently entertained. It has many cool vehicles designs and playstyles depending on the vehicles. From mechs, spider-mechs, tanks, hover tanks, technicals, IFVS, scout cars, etc. Additionally, it has a steam workshop community, that have added more interesting and cool vehicles, weapons, and modules to experience. If you feel underequipped, experiment at the training ground trying different vehicle loadouts. Additionally, some vehicles reward extra exp and materials upon mission completion. Like the CS gunner, that gives a x1.35 bonus, which is so good, you'll be breezing through unlockables, if you can find the proper loadout for it. In my experience, it functions best with two HMG or GL-Air Burst variants both slotte…
awsome game for being in early access, i dont have a ton to say about it yet, but ill likely update this on a later date when the game has more content than what it has currently so i can build a proper opinion.
hella fun shoot em up + giant mechs, deep customization with weapons/systems/modules, a long tech tree for constant progression.
Quite amazing destructive mech game with well balanced levels, and weapons you use more then once
