About Mech Mechanic Simulator

✦ AI summary

Build and manage a mech repair shop where you deconstruct, restore, and customize giant robots to compete against massive corporations. Expand your business by taking on increasingly complex jobs, upgrading your workshop, and eventually designing your own state-of-the-art mech while deciding which broken parts to restore or repurpose for profit.

This is the future - a world ruled by mechs.
Cars are long forgotten. The only thing that matters today are mechs - giant, powerful robots. And you? Well, you make loads of money on them. After all, you are a mech mechanic!

As a mech mechanic you will have to compete with the largest corporations of the modern world. Deconstruct, repair and improve giant machines. Create your own company and lead it to glory. Accept the challenge of creating your own state of the art mech - the most developed robot in the world.

Your job is to examine parts and find those that need to be replaced. Detach broken elements and order new ones... But remember, even the most damaged items can be reused. Renew, refresh and restore them, so they can be used again. Fix whatever you can. And the rest? Sell or melt it and craft into something entirely new!

Job offers can ask you to repaint some mechs, while others have to be updated and prepared for their new jobs. There are plenty of kinds of mechs in Mech Mechanic Simulator. And they all have different purposes. Increase your prestige and gain access to more complicated and state of the art machines.

Reputation of your warehouse constantly grows and corporations are less and less happy to see how well you manage to develop your business. It's about time to roll up your sleeves and compete with the biggest. Let's see who is able to create the most advanced mech of the future!

Expenses need to be covered. Your workshop could use some improvements and resources aren't cheap. Mech parts break all the time and your clients’ expectations are ever rising. Try to keep up if you don't want to get beaten up by your competition.

-gets game in bundle -decides to play it despite negative reviews -gets to the point of forming a legit mechanic business and go bankrupt because cant afford parts on next job -game gives me a one time 2,000 $ buy out from the bank... but do to a banking error (an integer underflow) I receive 2147,483,547 $ 11/10 would do bank fraud again

Jobs can easily end up costing you the same or more than the payment, and you won't know it until you tear it down and find the specific part to compare. Part prices fluctuate but there's no realistic way to buy low with how many parts there are in the game so it just ends up being a diceroll and you just buy whatever you need at the time. Accepted a job for 19k, put in 11k worth of parts, accidentally submitted job while checking paint requirements. and it just gave me -1.9k. Yeah no, I'm out.

You don't even get to figure out any issues you just stick it in the magic diagnostic scanner machine then it tells you exactly what to take out

Honestly I really enjoyed this game but be aware that it is a game about fixing mechs and only fixing mechs. The ways mechs are pulled apart and put together is intricate and I love that but the game play loop is pretty repetitive. You do get more stations as time goes on allowing you to switch from replacing damaged parts to fixing more and more of them and eventually even creating you own for when the contract specifically asks for a replacement. However the game is pretty constant in your role: You Fix Mechs. Most of the people I see complain are upset that there isn't more to this game but honestly I find that the game I exactly what it says it is to be refreshing. If your looking for a game where your ride in a mech or fight or explore look elsewhere however if you want to be a little grease monkey in a mech shop with nothing else competing for your attention other then the mech before you then I would strongly recommend this.

OK, so I got everything working. I can do all jobs and mostly seem to have unlocked everything. I did not run across any game locking glitches or underpaying jobs for work. So it seems most of the common complaints of the game not working or being unfair are fixed. Its still a boring as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ simulator. - Absurdly repetitive game play loop of working on the same mechs over and over with nothing to break it. - 1 NPC bot that repeats the same unfunny lines over and over again. No one else to interact with. - You can't pilot the mechs except through brief and very unfun 'calibration' tests. Event than its a clunky unresponsive mess with mechs just functioning as copies of each other. Nothing to set them apart in how they feel or look. - ONE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ song on loop over and over again will drive you mad. Look, Valkyrie Initiative isn't a bad developer. They're pretty decent at making 2d narrative games. Its clear they made this pile of trash to capitalize on the SIM boom that broke out a few years and had NOW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CLUE what they were doing. I'm glad they got this out of their system and got back at doing what they're good at because Mech Mechanic Simulator ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks hands…

Don't even looking at this game. One of the stations is bugged that if you were doing a tutorial for, well you just can't finish the tutorial for that station and that locks you out from buying the other stations. And if you were unlucky like me, locked me out of painting, the mission table, weld, calibration, craft stations, which is probably half of the features of this game. Point is- This game locked me from half of the game when you own the game, which is disappointing. This game at most, was just something to do for a moment and If I even bothered trying to find a fix or restarting my save to avoid the issue, well- -the gameplay wasn't just that compelling (only the title premise was), so just a waste of my time and it doesn't look like the devs will come back to fix it either.
