Merk Mayhem is a sci-fi multiplayer shooter where you choose from three distinct kits—Hornet, Hound, and Heavy—each with unique movement and combat capabilities, and build your custom loadout with locked weapons and tactical abilities like Stalker and Armor Leech. The game stands out for its strategic depth, requiring careful loadout planning and tactical ability selection while scavenging armor from fallen enemies to stay competitive.
Players spawn with a primary and a secondary weapon, and you cannot pick up someone else's, so build your loadout wisely. Restore armor by picking up drops from fallen enemies and choose from a range of tactical and passive abilities, including Stalker, Deployable Cover, Armor Leech, and Predator, to add an extra layer of strategy.

Community engagement is present among dedicated players, though the lack of populated servers outside organized events and technical issues like bad controls and audio make it a risky investment even at no cost, with most agreeing to wait for substantial improvements before considering it worth your time.

Solid up-and-coming shooter. Low population means that servers aren't populated outside of community-organized game nights. However, it looks good enough and feels good enough. This puts the "early" in "early access," but shows a lot of promise and has grown rapidly.10 found this helpful
My feeling said no. But I wanted to try it, because it was free. It's really not worth investing a single second. Bad performance, bad graphics, bad controls, bad sound and no players (no servers). Overall it feels like a game from the early 2000s, just without quality...and without players... To be honest - I understand the try a bit, but developers/pubplishers shouldn't release such a bad game on steam OR they should do it better. Good luck for the next time.5 found this helpful
