[h1] Not worst Mega Man clone. Level design is mostly good but placement of some enemies a bit weird and hard to hit. Difficulty depending on stage medium to hard. At the end of each level fight with boss, each with unique move set. Gameplay is more about shooting at the right moment while dodging bullets and not falling. Mini boss during level may pop out, so make sure to hit them where it hurts (weak spot). Just like in MM games specific order in which you beat levels and gather new skills is mandatory otherwise it might be a struggle. Music fits in and visuals are good. Like Mega Man? It's a Mega Man clone featuring cute cyborg anime girls called GALS. The premise is pretty simple: you play as a cyborg girl tasked with saving the world from an evil military leader after your creator and the rest of your sisters are captured. It's up to you to rescue them all. Everyone says the game is hard, and I can't really disagree. That said, I like to take things slowly, so I still had a good time. Some parts of the level design could definitely use more work, especially when it comes to warning players about bottomless pits or explaining certain gimmicks. At times, the stages feel unforgiving and a bit too long, with too many mechanics packed into a single level. I'm looking at you, Creeper's Stage 3. The art style could use some improvement, but honestly, it's not bad. The soundtrack is decent, but I think it's mixed too quietly. With all the sound effects going on, it's often hard to hear the music clearly. Creeper's Fortress theme and boss battle theme are among my favorites. I also ran into a few bugs. During transitions to boss doors, if something is blocking the other side, you can get stuck. I reproduced this in Buster Gal's stage after the mid-boss, but it can …

Fun game! The only major glitch I had happened during Buster Gal's stage after the miniboss. Had to be sure I was higher than the ground before exiting the gate, or else I would get stuck.

A not especially hard nor especially long Mega Man / MMX style game, it's obviously not coming from someone with a lot of experience making games but it's really well made for what it is and doesn't seem to stray too far from the game it copies in design or difficulty, shame it's a bit short.

MetaGal is such an amazing game it combines old school hard platforming with Run n Gun found in the MegaMan games. the stages are so well detailed game feels great to play controls feels very responsive everything just feels really good would highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a different take on the megaman games 8/10
