About Millions of Minions: An Underground Adventure
OVERVIEW
Millions of Minions is a dungeon crawler, in which you must strategically command your undead minions throughout the eerie caverns.
Over time, you will traverse your way upwards, from The Deep Depths: increasing your army, in order to reach the world's surface. However, you are met with never-before-seen, as well as fairly familiar, creatures with unnatural capabilities.
The world is randomly generated and so your experience will alter significantly each time you play which allows for extreme replay-ability.
Take control of your Millions of Minions and show those unnatural beings who rules the unnatural.

UNIT MANAGEMENT
With your magic, extract the life force from fallen enemies and use this life force to summon minions. These minions will provide you with a shield from projectiles and as a means of attacking enemies!

EYE-CATCHING VISUALS
Despite being plunged into the The Deep Depths, lights are still emitted.. But who, or what, emits them? That's for you to find out!

There are a lot of things that I do not like in this game, which is unfortunate because there are a lot of nice features, too. The graphical glow effects, hand-drawn animations, and the novel summoning mechanic are all very nice, but they do not make up for damning problems such as the mouse-cursor not centering on the cross-hair icon, the map not displaying correctly or fully, and the difficulty in regaining life points. I lost patience with the game, when kept seeing the same three enemies over and over, in indentical rooms. I would get cheap-shotted by an enemy spawn and have to restart the whole game. I really tried to like this game because it is obviously a solid first attempt at making an indie game, but I could not get over the feeling that corners were cut in order to get this game out of early access. And I am not the only one who lost patience: whereas 75% of owners started the game, only 44% made it to the second level, according to the steam achievements. I summoned minions on an Ubuntu Linux computer with a keyboard and mouse controller. I had problems mapping the gamepad controller, and I did not get a response in the forum on how to fix it. Millions of Minions is truly a needed inspiration for my own dreams of game development, thank you Matt for the free key to experience the game. It's great. Now, I will give my honest feedback on what could be improved and what I really liked. THE THINGS I LIKE: -The soundtrack is unique and fits the game very well. -The artstyle is great, It fits the game and music. -The enemies are a whole bunch of stupid fun and goofy. However, some of the bosses do that a more serious approach. THINGS THAT COULD BE IMPROVED/ADDED: -More music to the soundtrack, 2 pieces of music per dungeon + unique boss music to fit each boss would be excellent -More enemy varieties, It kind of gets annoying to kill the same enemies all the time in each chapter. -It would add a lot to the gameplay if in later chapters the enemies could spawn in random spots in the different rooms for more diverse gameplay. -Enemies should drop less coins -Some customization and things to collect throughout the game. More minion types, different colored clothes, etc -More props around the rooms just solely for decoration. -Bombs or secret portals to enter a more difficult room to get extra exclusive loo…2 found this helpful
