Good fun to play, nice course designer.
The potential for this game is 10. Actual is a 1. The game itself is ok, but there is zero effort put into explaining the game's special effects. For example, there are powerups on the course. Cool. What do they do? Who knows? I can tell one will let you slow your ball to keep it from going off the course, but if you never played before, where is this in readable rules? User courses can, of course, be garbage. "Woo! This course is so hard you'll be 5000 over par and 24 hours later to finish." A big turnoff from the start is official games where you' can seriously go 50 over par despite best efforts. Let me point out to the developers that if reasonable players can't finish a course without being 5 over par, you've failed in course design. Further for user content, thumb up or thumb down CAN make sense, but with no room for comments or, "yeah, this course isn't perfect, but it's good" or other intermediate responses just makes users create throwaway courses. The software is good. The support and content suck something awful.
I can't in good conscience recommend this game as the developer has completely abandoned it. It's a solid minigolf game with a fairly intuitive level editor, but due to the game being dead, it's hard to suggest this over Golf With Your Friends or Golf It!. There's some enjoyment to be had, but you're better off playing one of the other many minigolf games.
A hidden gem of a game. Has lots of freedom in it's course creator and lots of premade courses to play
I have been playing this game with friends for some years now. It's great. A few issues, one minor and one major: 1.) The Arcade course really is demanding on the GPU. I'm not quite sure why. It is. 2.) Major issue: when selecting a custom course (different holes from different courses) to be played, there are pink shadow objects that occasionally appear. Worse though, about 1/3 of the time during the course of 18 holes being played, the game will lock up and force a reload. Otherwise, a great game 8/10
Lots of fun many different courses
