MITTIN [OUTDATED]

MITTIN [OUTDATED] is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. Instead of being a game, MITTIN [OUTDATED] is an outdated and abandoned software application that's intended to teach special education students basic life and independent living skills (shopping, basic food preparation and so on). Certainly a noble effort, but the quality is fairly poor, and most importantly, this is not a game and it's not something gamers should be interested in here on Steam. I couldn't go out to any given gamer on Steam and tell them to drop DOTA2 or CS-2 and muck around with this educational software... it's not a game. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, increases the players score if any rows were completed, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill…

I cannot exit the rooms after completing my tasks. The doors don't work and I can't go back to the menu to choose another task. What happened here? This is a pretty big fault. Makes the game unplayable. Unless you want to close the game and reopen to do the next task. Even then, when you leave, I don't think your progress gets recorded.

My 8 year son before playing this used to get beaten up by a rabid racoon named Jeremy every single day on the way home from school, however after playing this game my son is a changed man he now judo chops anyone who comes within 6 centimetres of him with inhuman speed, however there is one trade off he is now dead.
